To capture strawberries ripening in unprecedented detail, I set up a hydroponic system with 50 plants in the studio. Six computer-controlled timelapse rigs, some with motion control, shot every ten minutes for four months, resulting in a world-first view of the strawberry’s life cycle.

This film about sunlight demanded the real thing. While directing live action inside the location, I ran a rooftop second unit to capture the sun’s path from dawn to dusk. After days of troubleshooting and reshooting, the team achieved a striking, one-of-a-kind timelapse sequence.
